झारखंड 230 साल पुराना सतीघाट मेला टुसु परब जानिये क्यू माना जाता है|
यहां स्नान करना बहुत भाग्यसाली होता है। झारखंड का पंचपरगनिया क्षेत्र में टुसु त्यौहार बहुत धूमधाम के साथ मनाया जाता है। इसमे सतीघाट मेला जो कि पिछले 230 सालो से मनाया जा रहा है, इस वर्ष भी 16 जनवरी 2024 को सतीघाट जो कि रांची के सोनाहातू थाना के अनातरगत बारेंदा के पास सतीघाट मेला का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस मेले में टुसू का विशेष महत्व है। लोग सतीघाट के पवित्र जल में स्नान करके नाच गान करके बड़े हरसो उल्लास के साथ जश्न मनाते हैं। इस दौरन लोग एक विशेष पकवान जिसे गुड़ पीठा कहते हैं जो कि गुड़ से बनता है उसको बड़े मजे से खाते हैं।

टुसू उत्सव झारखंड का इतिहास
लगभग 300 वर्ष पूर्व से झारखंड में टुसू उत्सव मनाया जाता है। यह टुसुमणि के बलिदान के उपलक्ष्य में मनाया जाता है जो एक राजकुमारी थी। पुराने लोगों के अनुसार, उस समय पश्चिम बंगाल के पुरुलिया में मुगलों का शासन था, जिसमें बारेंडा के राजा भी शामिल थे। बरेन्दा के राजा की पुत्री तुसुमनी थी जो अत्यंत आकर्षक और सुन्दर थी। मुगल किसी भी तरह से धन प्राप्त करना चाहते थे। अपनी रोटी पाने की चाहत में राजा ने तुसुमनी के राज्य पर हमला कर दिया। राजा के सैनिक टुसुमनी का पीछा करते हुए सतीघाट तक पहुँच गये। तुसुमनी ने अपनी आत्मा के साथ समझौता करने की अपेक्षा शरीर का त्याग करना बेहतर समझा। तुसुमनी ने उसी स्वर्णरेखा नदी में अपना शरीर त्याग दिया। तब से यह स्थान पवित्र माना जाता है, उनके बलिदान की याद में हर युद्ध में उसी नदी के किरण पर सतीघाट मेला मनाया जाता है। यह धन की कटाई या समृद्धि के लिए भी मनाया जाता है, इसलिए इसे फसल कटाई का त्योहार भी कहा जाता है।
