The most popular game among youths in India, Player’s Unknown Battle Grounds, i.e. PUBG mobile is banned in India. According to the news, PUBG is among 118 Chinese apps blocked by the Indian Government. As per the reports, the reason to again block the Chinese apps is due to fresh tension over China’s action over the Ladakh area.
Under the Act of Information Technology of Section 69A, the mobile gaming app, PUBG is banned along with other Chinese apps, because game activities are harmful to the integrity and sovereignty of India, the security of a state and public, and also to the defense of India, reported by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
This move to ban PUBG and 118 other apps is an attempt to safeguard the interests of more than 50 crore mobile and internet users in India.
A few days back, the ministry said to constantly get reports about the misuse of some mobile apps on iOS and Android platforms stealing and clandestinely transmit data to an unknown server outside India.
